For excellent projection performance, the LW855UST produces 3500 ANSI lumens and WXGA (1280x800) resolution for clear, sharp images and text even in large and bright classrooms. High brightness allows you to keep the lights on during lessons, and wide aspect resolution increases visibility and readability of all types of content.

The ultra-short throw lens allows the projector to be mounted just inches from the wall or directly above the screen, eliminating distracting shadows and glare so students and teachers can freely engage and collaborate at the board.

With BenQ professional color-grading technology, the LW855UST is tailored to the presentation of various educational content. Infographic Mode is great for showcasing the text and graphics of infographics in detail, ensuring more saturated and lively color performance than standard Presentation Mode. Vivid Mode is designed for superior color performance for video or image presentations.

• Control system compatibility: The LW855UST is widely compatible with leading projector control systems including Crestron, AMX, and PJ Link for network control via LAN, making it simple to integrate into educational network infrastructures. The projector also supports RS-232 for reliable long distance installation of up to 15 meters when there is no LAN port available nearby.

• Centralized control with BenQ DMS software: BenQ DMS Local is a device info and management software suite for Windows. The software helps IT departments control multiple displays at a time via LAN.

• Centralized upgrade tool for multi-projector maintenance: Administrators can centrally upgrade the firmware on multiple networked BenQ projectors on the same local network via LAN (up to 253 projectors), deploying the latest updates to all devices at once. This new tool can upgrade firmware for TI IC, MCU IC, LAN IC, and Ballast IC, with a friendly user interface.

• Streamlined wall mount alignment: For efficient professional installation, the LW855UST ultra-short throw projector wall mount (included) features an installation chart and ruler for perfect screen alignment and image positioning in the classroom. To make things even simpler, a three-way adjustment knob is located at the front of the projector for cleanly installed, absolutely square screens.

• Lens shift and 2x digital zoom: The LW855UST offers vertical lens shift of 2% to fit perfectly into any room with a dynamic range of projection distances and heights. The 2x digital zoom offers a wide range of throw distances to significantly increase installation flexibility for diverse mounting and placement options.

• Digital Shrink & Shift: Shrink and shift projection via the OSD without reinstalling or adjusting the projector physically to get precisely aligned images on the desired frame and space.

• 2D Keystone & Corner Fit: The LW855UST is equipped with two-dimensional keystone correction. Corner Fit control adjusts each corner respectively for perfectly aligned image geometry.

• Multi-touch with pens and multi-screen collaboration: Coupled with PointWrite™, the LW855UST augments collaboration with styluses or direct touch.
