Overview

BenQ LU9750

8500-lumen WUXGA Large Venue Projector

The LU9750 features BenQ's proprietary DLP high brightness laser technology for large venue applications. Combining high brightness, excellent image quality, installation flexibility and a maintenance-free laser light source, this laser projector enables immersive public displays and innovative visual communication in ways never before possible.

The LU9750 directly controls light output for faster response and strikingly clear images at a super-high contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. Custom Light Mode modulates light power output from 40% to 100% to optimize the projected images in a variety of ambient lighting situations. This is especially useful for maintaining consistent brightness when blending across multiple projections.

Installation is easy thanks to a range of electrical optional lenses, horizontal and vertical lens shift, 360° rotation projection, 2D keystone correction, and corner fit control. With a 20,000-hour long lasting laser light source and 100,000+ hour chip, as well as a filterless and dust-proof design, the LU9750 is truly a low-maintenance projector.

The groundbreaking HDBaseT connectivity of the LU9750 combines video, audio, RS-232 and LAN control signals from multiple sources (including PCs, laptops, document cameras, Blu-ray and DVDs) onto a single RJ-45 cable, ensuring seamless transmissions up to 100 meters.

(Note: Lens is sold separately. See Accessories tab for complete lineup.)

Features

Brilliant Image Performance

  • Dual Color Wheels for Optimal Color Performance: To harness the high output of the powerful laser light source, BenQ engineers utilized dual color wheels to achieve laser-precise RGBY color by eliminating the white segment of a conventional color wheel. Through an ideal mixture of the red, green, blue and yellow color segments, BenQ laser projectors produce brilliant color and a wider color gamut than conventional lamp-based projectors, achieving a 95% Rec.709 color coverage.
  • Ultra-High Contrast with Automatic Power Control: BenQ laser projectors directly control light output for faster response and strikingly clear images at a super-high contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. Additionally, there are automatic brightness adjustments to retain clarity and subtle details in dark scenes and balance in bright scenes.
  • WUXGA Resolution for Enhanced Detail and Expanded Content: With an impressive WUXGA (1920 x 1200) native resolution that far exceeds Full HD 1080p, BenQ's LU9750 laser projector offers greater detail and stunning clarity when high resolution images are projected.
  • Custom Light Mode to Ensure Consistent Brightness Blending: Custom Light Mode modulates light power output from 40% to 100% under a scale of 80 steps, optimizing the projected images in a variety of ambient lighting situations. It is especially useful for maintaining consistent brightness when blending across multiple projections.

Enduring Reliability

  • Guaranteed Performance for 20,000 Hours: BenQ laser projectors deliver 20,000 hours of superior image quality and performance. The laser light source resists color decay over time, making BenQ laser projectors ideal for multiple blending projections without concern for adjacent projectors generating different levels of brightness after a period of operation.
  • 24/7 Operation: BenQ laser light source supports continuous 24/7 operation and is suitable for public display applications in museums and exhibitions. Users can choose from three different light source modes to optimize energy consumption and deliver up to 70,000 hours under Dimming Mode.
  • DLP Technology for Vibrant Color Endurance: BenQ laser projectors are based on the absolute reliability of 1-chip DLP design. The highly durable DLP chip is rated to last over 100,000 hours without degradation, ensuring true-to-life colors and pristinely legible text for countless uses.
  • Superior Dust-proofing for Severe Conditions with IP5X Certification: BenQ laser projectors are designed with sealed laser modules and enclosed light engines to protect the DMD chip, color wheel sensor, laser bank and other optical components. This lock-and-key design hermetically seals the engine from dust* and high thermal conductivity metallic fluid controls engine operating temperature to prolong projector lifespan. (* Dust chamber test standard: JIS Class)

Excellent Installation Flexibility

  • Multiple Lenses for Diverse Applications: The LU9750 projector is compatible with multiple electrical optional lenses to maximize throw ratio coverage. These all-glass optics, made in Japan, eliminate chromatic aberration and color flare for utmost image quality. Maximize installation options and projection layout with a quick one-button release. Changing lenses is now simple and secure.
  • Factory White Balance Calibration: BenQ's exclusive white balance adjustments can reduce white balance variables between images projected from different projectors to such a low level that most people cannot see any difference. This allows for seamless and accurate picture quality without disruptive discrepancies, and saves time in adjusting color when installing projectors.
  • 360° and Portrait Projection Accommodate Different Spaces: BenQ laser technology guarantees reliable projection from any angle. Dynamic installation options, such as 360° rotation and portrait applications, allow projection onto ceiling, walls, floors or angled signage.
  • Motorized Zoom, Focus, Lens Shift and Memory: Convenient and wide-range powered zoom, focus and horizontal/vertical lens shift deliver perfectly proportioned images despite installation or placement challenges in any venue. Customizable memory enables multiple settings to be conveniently recalled to optimize projection characteristics for a variety of content and applications.
  • Large 2D Keystone and Corner Fit for Perfectly Aligned Images: Digital Keystone enables you to easily correct for vertical projector tilt, or if the projector is not square to the screen. With a few simple taps on the remote, you can adjust the image so that it properly fills your screen. BenQ's corner fit technology enables you to stretch or pull back the image to the four corners of your screen.

Easy Management

  • Network/Web Control: BenQ laser projectors are compatible with Creston, AMX and PJ Link control systems for convenient system integration with various third-party components, and reduced cost to centrally maintain multiple projectors.
  • LAN Control: BenQ's large venue projectors are widely compatible with leading projector control systems including Extron, Crestron, AMX and PJ-Link for network control via LAN, making it simple to integrate into corporate network infrastructures. When there is no LAN infrastructure, LU9750 also supports RS-232 for reliable long-distance installations up to 15 meters.
  • Centralized Control with BenQ MDA Software: BenQ centralized control software is a management tool for computers that enables remote and centralized management of multiple digital projectors by IT administrators/ technicians via a local network. The management capabilities include the ability to remotely monitor, control, and configure projectors individually or as groups.

Wide Compatibility

  • HDBaseT for Uncompressed Transmission Up to 100 m and Control: The LU9750 is equipped with groundbreaking HDBaseT connectivity combining video, audio, RS-232 and LAN control signals from multiple sources including: PCs, laptops, document cameras, Blu-ray and DVDs, onto a single RJ-45 cable. This ensures seamless transmissions up to 100 meters.
  • HDMI 2.0 for Supreme Image Quality: The LU9750 comes with HDMI 2.0 ports so that users can now effortlessly project content with much less friction and enjoy greater brightness and contrast range than SDR.
  • 3D Sync In and 3D Sync out: Connect up to 3 projectors and project 3D content from all of them with a single PC.
