To achieve its low noise performance, Barco optimally utilized the unit's internal space, enabling dramatic reductions in fan speed and, consequently, much lower noise levels. With the use of advanced noise inspection tools, including noise cameras and spectrum analysis, Barco has optimized the noise timbre, ensuring that the F80 projectors are quiet enough to be placed in any environment without the audience noticing.
